Plank!

Plank! is the love child of drinking too much whiskey and wine on a Paddington balcony mixed with a passion of everything alternative.

Sticking to its underground roots, Plank! has plucked exceptional artists from every random nook, cranny and crevasse . Each artist has been yanked from such ‘unorthodox’ places as tattoo parlours, comic books, alley ways, bars, coffee shops, gigs, piercing studios, restaurants’ and zines. Some very big names in the Underground circuit pop up.

Skate Biz in ....Brisbane.... city zealously donated their sponsored crews used decks to be the body, soul and heart of the manifested art on exhibition.

In the innovative studio located in West End, the behind the scenes backbone RiotXGraphics, founded by Mistress Dambinatrix, comfortably enjoys pissing its locals off with ‘relatively’ inappropriate power sanding sessions and relentless spray can shakings.

 Plank! A Skate Deck Art Bonanza, will be held at the funky underground Verve Café/ Bar in ....Brisbane.. ..City.... on May 7^th.....

Festivities kick off at 8pm which includes: sick art, live music and djs, cheap booze, art for auction, live graffiti sessions, and some special guests.

A percentage of the profits will go towards the Victoria Bush Fire Appeal.....
